just when you think you have found the best pub /restaurant food in the area,we discover the royal oak.OMG,The food is amazing,from bar snacks to a proper sit down meal it never fails to amaze.the sunday roast is off the scale.roastys proper cooked veg done to perfection.soups to die for.deserts yummy.The staff are polite and cheery,always on the ball. all this makes the royal oak our go to destination for good food and drinks, well done fran and staff.

Thank you so much for saving the mother in laws 80th birthday , booked in another pub but had power cut , drove down to you and you quickly accomadated 30 of us , food was spot on and so was the service , thank you again
