Seriously this place is like a shining light in the dark after getting off work late-night. Not only is the food soul fulfilling, but the people who work the truck and own it feed your soul in every way. From the food to the interactions, every time I stop to grab some food I leave in a better mood! I hope to see this food truck thrive and stay downtown for the long-haul. Wow, wow, wow! Absolutely amazing! Something that really stood out was the staff was so friendly and knew many passersby by name. The food was beyond delicious. My last two nights in Pensacola, and I just had to have Royal Redneck. I highly recommend the Old Bay Garlic Shrimp Taco, and the Boudin Balls: Mexican Street Corn; Kimichi Fried Rice. Don't forget the Banana Pudding too, seriously a must have. The hot food was hot, and the cold food was cold. Can't wait to come back when I'm in town again. If you haven’t tried Royal Rednecks yet… GO. NOW. I finally got to try Royal Rednecks and this food is on a whole different level. The jambalaya balls are honestly some of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and just addictive in the best way. And the crab dip fries?? I don’t even have the words. Imagine golden fries covered in the creamiest, dreamiest crab dip… it’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after it’s gone. But here’s the real reason this place is special: the people behind it. Matt and Christine have pour their hearts into this business, and you can feel it in every single detail… the food, the service, the energy, the way they treat their customers like family. They work SO hard and stay kind, down to earth, and genuinely joyful about what they do. Supporting Royal Rednecks doesn’t just mean getting amazing food (though you absolutely will) it means supporting two truly wonderful humans who deserve every bit of success coming their way.
