Sorry to have to write this but ordered Tulsi special. Got food poisoning the day before a family wedding :( hopefully just a one off for them but they need to sort out their food hygiene, especially with prawns/mixed meat dishes.

We tried a takeaway the first week Tulsi opened and thought it was nice enough although they gave us some stale poppadoms and the curry sauce that came with the tandoori dish was very odd to say the least. We held off trying it again for sometime but decided to give it a go tonight after reading the reviews and we were disappointed: the onion bhaji was soggy, the rice and naan bread were OK, the desi tandoori chicken starter was lovely and tender, but the chicken bhuna and chicken karai mains were a disappointment – not particularly tasty and we asked for chicken tikka (we were charged £1 extra per portion) but it definitely wasn’t chicken tikka, it was just normal chicken. Most of the meal was too salty, but the palak bhaji (spinach) was ridiculously salty, so much so that we couldn’t eat it and was full of grit as it obviously hadn’t been washed. Won’t be going back.
