The varied menu based on Hawaiian cuisine is what you are offered at this restaurant. Roy's may please you with mouthwatering butterfish, prawns and bacon. Tasting good chocolate soufflés, vanilla ice cream and chocolate cakes is what most visitors advise. It's nice to taste delicious house wine, beer or martinis. This place will offer you great chocolate frappe, hot chocolate or tea.

This spot is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are found attractive here. You will certainly appreciate the spectacular atmosphere and cute fireplace. Trip users marked this restaurant with 4 stars, you can check it out.

Always intriguing Hawaiian seafood and superb service! This was my first visit to the Desert Ridge location, but I've been patron for over 10 years in 3 Hawaiian islands including Kauii, Mauii, Florida, Chandler, Scottsdale and never disappointed!!
Highly recommend the Maui Wowie salad!!
Very disappointed. Ordered scallops with risotto and pea tendrils. Wife ordered the Philippine special with the main being a pork shank with polenta. The risotto was undercooked and not creamy. The pea tendrils were so tough it was like chewing a rope. I had to spit them out, they were inedible. The scallops were cooked properly but needed salt. The pork shank was tender and had a nice roasted pork flavor but that too was under seasoned. The polenta was so under-seasoned that it actually tasted like nothing. Now that is hard to pull off! Maybe they don't use salt in Hawaii or east Asia. I didn't say anything to the server because the only time she checked with us was immediately after we got our entrée. Literally hadn't even taken a bite yet. By the time she showed up again our plates were long gone and we wanted to get out of there. It was 1 hour and 45 minutes by the time the desert showed up. When the server promoted their food as "Hawaiian cuisine with east Asian flavors using French cooking techniques" she set a fairly high bar that unfortunately they failed to meet. Ultimately, I guess I was expecting too much from a chain restaurant in a hotel. The clubhouse restaurant at the golf course had much better food. I wouldn't spend the money to go to Roy's.
