Rubios is as good as it gets when you want a straightforward mexican meal. Everything is very good without going overboard. I enjoy my meals at Rubios. I gave it a 4 rating because I am comparing them to the San Diego Yacht Club which is a 5 and my absolute favorite...which probably isn't fair. Compared to McDonald's they are a ten. Price per person: $10–20

I was influenced and came after seeing tik tok hype up the new fish and chips and I have to be honest, it was hella good! I came in not really expecting much, especially because the comment section was making it seem like it was mid so I was genuinely shocked by how good it was! I’m not even a slaw person but I really enjoyed their purple cabbage slaw too. Everything was made to perfection, the sauce added a really good flavor the only thing I would’ve done differently is add a little bit more seasoning to the fries but overall it’s really good and the service was 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and try the other stuff on the menu! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a great experience at Rubio’s Coastal Grill. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients.
