I popped in for a lunchtime snack and to eat in. The food was served in a container and when asked for it on a plate, the guy behind the counter just upended it in a soup plate leaving an ugly looking mess. To add to the disaster, the food was barely warm and there was no offer of water. Quite frankly it was appalling all round! If I could give a minus star I would have . This place was so dirty , the menu sticky , the table sticky and the sauce on the table was just plain crusty and dirty . All of this we noticed once we had ordered . I do try to find positives in most places but this one I can’t . I had chicken curry and steamed rice - very little flavour and the rice was more like sticky rice than steamed rice . My friend ordered lemongrass chicken with fried rice . There was no flavour whatsoever, the chicken was that stiff it didn’t move when you picked it up with a fork , ( there is no way it was cooked today ) the fried rice was oily and once again no flavour . Come on owners at least try and put together some decent food . We both ended up chucking it in the bin - what a waste . With a name like Rue Saigon I expected better , and quite honestly this place would not pass a health inspection- not from what was obvious in the front .
