I visited Rumman Collective today for the second time, and unfortunately this experience was completely different from my first visit. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was actually very good and enjoyable. However, the Chicken Musakhan Fatteh was extremely disappointing. The dish arrived cold, lacked freshness, and was nowhere near the quality I expected. The most concerning issue was that I found not one, but two pieces of chicken bone in the dish. I nearly broke a tooth while eating and was genuinely shocked that something like this made it out of the kitchen. This is a serious food safety concern and could have caused an injury. I asked to speak with the manager and explained the situation. My intention was not to seek compensation but to make sure the issue was addressed and that other customers are aware. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against ordering the Chicken Musakhan Fatteh until the restaurant improves its preparation and quality control. It’s unfortunate because the venue itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is pleasant, and my first visit was enjoyable. However, today’s experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was important to share. I’ve attached photos for reference. Honestly the place is so nice for a visit and maybe some drinks but that’s it. Food is really bad honestly I’ve ordered a tenderloin which tasted very bitter had no gravy and the mashed potatoes that came with it was barely mashed as some parts of it was still not cooked. I’ve also ordered some kebab almost a mix of 5 items on the menu and the portions were so off putting even tho I asked about them. The workers were very nice they asked if everything was alright and told them how I kind of felt about the food and the fact that there were some missing items from what I’ve ordered. At the end I would say that the Place is very nice view wise. But if I wanna come here again I would not order any food as the experience was not it. 5 stars for the place and vibes! The atmosphere here is wonderful, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and both the hummus and coffee were great. However, the hot dishes fell a bit flat for us. We ordered the potato mufarraka (مفركة\ بطاطا) and the eggs with sujuk (بيض\ وسجق). Both tasted a bit too plain and lacked seasoning. In the mufarraka, the potatoes were blended so much into the eggs that it just felt like eating plain baked eggs. With a bit more flavor and better texture, this place would be perfect!
