Really fun entrance and great vibe and the drinks were very well made but I don't think I'll go back. The menu was super limited and, like, hoity-toity or something? As if they were trying too hard but didn't quite hit the mark? I'm not sure how to describe it. We had caviar and other small bites but, again, nothing was outstanding while all of it was just sort of better than okay. Maybe better service could have elevated the overall experience but I wouldn't know as the service we received left us feeling like an after thought or maybe as if we weren't the "expected" clientele. However, if you care a lot about atmosphere and drinks, don't mind being ignored by the staff, and aren't going for the food, this is your jam! I can totally see how a vibe-driven crowd would have a good time. It just wasn't for me Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Such a fun and unique cocktail experience! Love that the menu is a deck of cards, my husband and I like to choose a card at random to try new drinks! Fun, cozy atmosphere. It fills up quickly on the weekends! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really enjoyed our night out at Run for the Roses. I learned out it from a featured recommendation in Denver Life Magazine. Their regular cocktail menu is on a deck of cards, which was fun to look through, but the server recommended the seasonal cocktail menu and we followed his recommendation. The Defenestration - Bourbon, hazelnut, macadamia nut & bitters was an interesting take on an old fashioned. We really liked it. I ordered the Port Authority based on it having soursop (guanabana). Wow-- one of the best cocktails I've ever had. I really loved it - silver tequila, passionfruit, soursop and a salt rim. This was one of my favorite bars in Denver and I highly recommend it! We were there on a Wednesday night from 7 - 10 - it wasn't very busy. Great time to go if you don't have an early morning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–50
