Heading to Laughlin, Nevada for some Friday or Saturday “day gambling that accidentally turns into night life,” you need to stop at Rush Lounge inside the Golden Nugget Laughlin Nevada. Marissa the cocktail waitress kept things moving fast with friendly service, and the drink prices were surprisingly reasonable for a place where you can actually sit, relax, and still feel like you are part of the action. Meanwhile our friends were playing video poker and somehow receiving comp drinks from Anthony the bartender who could somehow make about 10 drinks in under a minute while still smiling like it was no big deal. There are not many places in Laughlin where you can meet friends, listen to live music, and have a DJ all in the same room, but Rush Lounge pulls it off. It is a hidden gem compared to the other spot across the way that does the classic rock and country bands every weekend. This place is the better move. Live music runs early in the evening and then the DJ takes over later, which makes it an easy win for anyone who wants both. Great energy, solid crowd, and top shelf whiskey recommendations if you ask Anthony for his suggestions. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
