We just moved here and we're looking for a good Italian restaurant. We found it! The food is excellent, the service was superb. The clam chowder was incredible. Price per person: $20–30

Me and my wife used to love this place. We stopped in today for her birthday and wow has it changed. The bread was stale and fell apart when you cut it. I got the lasagna and iv honestly had better sause from a can. The worst part of the meal was the mushroom risotto my wife ordered, this was so bad it was offensive! The risotto was devoid of all the things that make a risotto an iconic dish. It was dry, thick and cold, im not sure what they flavored it with but it was so off-putting I wanted to go into the kitchen with it and make the cook try his own food. The waitress was the only redeeming part of this experience. I dont normally complain but I did this time and she did not charge us for this disaster of a meal. Also, a tip for the "Italian restaurant" no one wants to listen to Mariachi music the whole time your sitting down to eat ITALIAN food. Price per person: $20–30

My wife and I chose Rustico Ristorante & Pizzeria for our first anniversary dinner, and it was the perfect decision. From the moment we walked in, we felt special. The hostess, Shannon, was incredibly lovely and welcoming, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. The food was absolutely incredible—you can really taste that everything is made from scratch with clean, local ingredients. We were offered some incredible bread made fresh with scallion oil that was incredible and a perfect start to a perfect meal. We ordered the New Yorker Pizza, which was loaded with delicious toppings (the meats were fantastic!), and the Lobster Mac and Cheese. The pasta was rich, creamy, and decadent—truly to die for. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. Shannon was very helpful with wine recommendations that paired perfectly with our meal. We were also treated to a beautiful cannoli dessert with a "Happy Anniversary" chocolate, which was such a thoughtful and sweet touch. If you are in the Temecula/Murrieta area and looking for authentic Italian food with top-tier hospitality, I highly recommend Rustico. We will definitely be back!
