Reason for visit: oldest bakery in Hungary. Tasty pastries, but wouldn't go there a second time. It's not a lunch spot, more for drinking tea. A delicious poppy seed cake. The location is good, the view limited. Friendly staff. Meal type: Lunch Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Ruszwurm Confectionery located near Buda Castle and the famous Fisherman's Citadel in the city of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Roseworm Confectionery is an old family confectionary that started in 1827, to this day the confectionary has an ancient and historical look, the place itself is relatively small with very few seats. You can sit on sofas or chairs with small tables. During peak hours there is a queue at the entrance to the place and you have to wait outside, there is no proper and defined waiting area. You can enjoy a relatively wide variety of cakes, pastries, cookies, hot and light drinks at relatively cheap and attractive prices, you can pamper yourself and taste several cakes and pastries at a normal and affordable price. The service is nice and efficient. The cakes and pastries in the place are special and delicious (it is recommended to try the crème shnit cakes and the recommended elephant ears), the interior is crowded and there is not enough space, which detracts from the experience of sitting and eating in the place. Near the place, the fishermen's fortress, an amazing view towards the Danube, Buda church, more shops and public transportation is available.
