Used to be one of my favorite places in the county, but while I was in there they were charging the person ahead of me extra for a small little sauce container, combined with the high surcharge for using a card instead of cash. Then I get home and find hair in my food. Likely won't be going back for a while. Order type: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: $40–50

Ordered takeout from Rutherford Thai and tried the Panang curry and garden rolls. The curry was just average and didn’t feel very appetizing. It’s not something I’d order again, especially compared to the Panang curry at Thai Basil in Black Mountain. The garden rolls, though, were a highlight—fresh, beautiful, well-filled, and delicious. I would definitely give Rutherford Thai another try and explore some of their other dishes, but I’d personally skip the Panang curry next time.
