Cold brew is thin and sour :( Maybe it's the new Moonraker beans, I remember the coffee being better in the past. Sandwiches and salads are good, if a bit pricey Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30

I purchase a hot Redeye coffee, almost every day from Ryebread. Today was my first encounter with the General Manager ( an old woman) I have never seen her before and because of her I will never return!!! As mentioned I frequent Ryebread and one of the nice staff members offered me a card to whole punch, every 10 coffee purchases the 11th one is free. I was at my 8th punch, today would have been 9. However, the woman was not welcoming as I entered, she said something to me and I didn't hear her she then repeated herself in a very condescending manner by holding her hand up to her mouth as if she was yelling. I ignored her and continued to order. At the time of payment I handed her my card so that it could be punch for my purchase, and she says no this does not apply to expresso drinks. I showed her my card to point out that I have been receiving the punches for the same purchase , she tells me that she is the general manager and that this is the policy, again she spoke to me in a rude manner. I shut down and began to add cream and sugar to my drink. I looked over at the sign that offered the 11th free drink and it does not specify expresso. I am an African American Muslim woman, and I truly feel that my appearance was the reason why she was rude to me. Love the coffee but will never return because I refuse to be mistreated !! Rybread has great sandwiches, but has inconsistent hours and is no longer an option after work since they close so early. It used to be my go to, but now I just go to Sandwich Corner- better service, better hours, and equally good food. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Takeaway Price per person: $10–20
