The vibe is very much that of a old-school, neighbourhood restaurant, modest, unpretentious, intimate. Small interior — a counter and a few tables — gives it a down-to-earth, local feel. The food seems to punch above expectations for its modest setting. According to a review: “the fried rice (small size) was fluffy and delicious,” and the gyoza’s skin was “crispy,” giving a satisfying texture contrast.
