The rooms were ok but certainly not clean and the roof was leaking dirt in our bed. The overall impression is that the property is not being maintained and it feels outdated. The staff is very kind though. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay. Also the squirrels living in the roof and mosque nearby kept us awake during the night. Service: 3

We got a free upgrade, big clean room with a nice bed, bathroom and private terrace with a breathtaking view of the mountains around Kandy. The food was good. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was super nice and helpful, and so was the manager. The pool was being cleaned the day we left, so during our stay it wasn’t the cleanest, but it was nonetheless a very nice pool with an amazing view. We spent a full day by the pool which was very relaxing. The garden is very well kept and peaceful. Service: 5

We absolutely prefer this over a large hotel as it’s so peaceful. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. Just a beautiful, tranquil place to be. The rooms are lovely, large, very clean and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and go over and above to make sure you have everything you need. Having breakfast included is well worth the money. Plus they cater to both Sri Lankan and Western cuisines. I’d happily recommend this place to anyone. We’ll definitely be back time and time again. The views are amazing, the surrounding village is lovely and the walks through the beautiful hills are stunning. A tuk tuk or bus just at the door makes getting in and out of Kandy or to the shops easy. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one. Service: 5
