We had breakfast and dinner at S Kitchen during our stay at Sheraton. The breakfast buffet had a decent spread from local Sri Lankan dishes to western and Mediterranean foods. We chose to have Dosa, Omelette and String Hoppers. There was fresh fruit juice available and plenty of desserts. For dinner we ordered from the À La Carte menu. The mutton Biriyani prepared by Chef Ali was probably one of the best biryani’s I’ve had. The lagoon prawns were also delicious. Cocktails were decent. The best part of the restaurant was the service. Raveen and Kushan took care of us during breakfast and dinner. They served us with a smile and were attentive. The excellent service made the dining experience even better. The atmosphere was great with a live musician playing at dinner. The only thing that I could slightly criticise but to be expected at a resort is that the restaurant was busy and at times noisy. This didn’t detract too much as we are used to travelling at resorts. This is a great buffet style restaurant. Everything is top notch. From the welcome at the door, the indoor or outdoor seating, the service at the table(so friendly), the large variety of foods to choose from, and again, the amazing service, it is all great. The evening buffet is even more impressive, with multiple food stations outside. I recommend that one for sure! Bon appetit! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
