On my annual trip back to the Midwest, I always have to have a tenderloin. This one did not disappoint, thick and perfectly seasoned! I usually rate a restaurant by their coleslaw (very generous portion) and it was excellent! We started off with the cheese curds, also delicious. Our food came out quickly and our waitress was excellent. I want to go back to try their corn fritters and walleye dinner before I go home. Sheets Creek Saloon will definitely be at the top of my list of places to eat when I visit!! I have a benchmark dish...fried chicken. They have as good as any, but the sides are way better than most, particularly the green beans which were not the standard diner fare but whole well-seasoned beans. With crazy prices going on they are well within reasonable and the service was excellent.
