After seeing Boott Cotton Mills Museum, it may be a nice idea to visit SHEGA. Come to this place for a break and taste perfectly cooked mediterranean chicken, prawns and pasta. You will enjoy its food, especially good cannoli.

Delicious food, and a great location with nice and fairly quiet outdoor seating on the canal. We enjoyed the salmon. When we visited in June 2026, they had only been open for a few weeks. We will go again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

This new Mediterranean cuisine restaurant has one of the best locations in Lowell with beautiful outdoor seating. We had shrimp saganaki and beef shaksuka — both meals were delicious. Our spicy feta dip came without any bread, however. Shega is in soft opening so they’re still ironing out some kinks, but the menu is first rate and it’s a welcome addition to the Lowell culinary scene. We’ll definitely be back!
