Ordered the 3300 yen set lunch (salmon as main) and the 4500 yen set (grilled beef as main). Added on a fried yuba croquette. An elegant taste to the yuba served in the shop. For the mains, i took the grilled beef set... Should have taken the salmon set (wife took it) instead as the grilled salmon was juicy and sweet to the taste. Overall, will recommend the salmon set instead which is cheaper and better tasting in my opinion. However, both sets came with a tourist price tag (pricey). But well, since im there, might as well try the local specialty of Nikko. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Grilled Rainbow Trout

Japanese isakaya, we had a very good experience here, staff was amazing, food was delicious and other customers were very happy and celebrating a festival. First of all, it was amazing Since the inn was a room only, I made a reservation with Shiori. (On the first day in Fukushima Prefecture, we stayed without meals and couldn't eat outside, so we ended up eating at a convenience store) At first, I was imagining an izakaya, where I would eat a single dish, but then I went there and it turned out to be a course meal. (The store is not bad at all) However, it's definitely better than eating at the hotel! All the dishes are piping hot and served one by one which is great There was also a sake tasting set and it was very fun and delicious Be sure to make a reservation before going! Don't let this be my first day without meals... I want to go again if I go to Nikko!
