Ravi is a fantastic, young and welcoming host with a lot of ambition for the restaurant he runs together with his parents. It’s a very cozy place, beautifully decorated! Ravi is always ready for a chat, and you can ask him anything for tips about Sigiriya and Sri Lanka in general. We also rented a scooter here, which was excellent quality, with flexible pick-up and drop-off times and a fair price. If you’re checking out this restaurant on Google Maps, please take the time to stop by and have something to eat or drink—you won’t regret it! Make sure to try Carrom, a Sri Lankan pool version. We visited Simba Rest Sigiriya this evening and really enjoyed our time there. The food was freshly prepared, full of flavor, and very authentic – you can tell it’s made with care. The local dishes were especially delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. It felt more like visiting friends than going to a restaurant.
