Simul was an excellent choice for our first night in Athens. Their cabbage dish was nothing short of amazing. I wanted two. My first taste of rooster went well, and I enjoyed the taste. Grilled squid and lamb were also good. Service was very professional, but lacked warmth and humor. That is an expectation of mine, because even a three star Michelin restaurant shouldn’t take themselves too seriously. I have been able to get the staff to relax at a cabal of Michelin starred restaurants around the world. Even in Japan, a two star chef sat down and drank sake with us, laughing with joy. Simul doesn’t have a star yet, but with that as a possible goal, Simul still can have fun and enjoy what they’re doing. Smiles and laughter are integral to dining. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
