Sofra is a moderately priced restaurant located on Prince Majed Bin Abdulaziz Street in Riyadh, serving Turkish cuisine. The restaurant has a reputation for its fried chicken, which patrons have praised as fresh and of high quality, potentially owing to their source, Alakhaween chicken. An experienced figure in the local culinary scene, master chef Yousuf, renowned for his expertise in fried chicken, adds a layer of authenticity to Sofra's offerings.
While fried chicken is a standout, Sofra's menu has expanded over the years to include a selection of savory pastries. Dishes like the shawarma pie and the kodo pie have been highlighted by past visitors for their delightful flavors. However, it's important to note that the most recent customer reviews date back five years, with no updated information available regarding potential changes in the menu or service since then.
Operating hours have not been disclosed, and recent feedback from management is absent, indicating a lack of current updates from the restaurant. This lack of recent interaction might raise questions about any adjustments in service or offerings since the last documented experiences. As part of the dining scene in Riyadh, Sofra is a potential stop for those looking to explore Turkish culinary traditions, though checking in for the latest updates via local contacts might be worthwhile before planning a visit.
