my visit was on April 11th 11:33am I really wanted to enjoy this Korean cafe in Riyadh, but the service was incredibly disappointing and disorganized. The Service Issues: • Communication Barrier: The cashier did not speak Arabic or English. I had to repeat my order multiple times, and he still managed to miss my matcha entirely. • Order Confusion: After noticing the missing drink, I asked the Saudi staff member to cancel our pancake (which had a 30-minute wait) and replace it with the matcha. While he was helpful and offered a free pancake if we stayed 50 minutes, the coordination was poor. • False Alarms: I was given a pager and told my remaining money and drink would be brought to the table. However, the pager went off just 4 minutes after I sat down. When I walked back to the counter, they told me the order wasn't ready yet and just wanted to give me my change. • Lack of Care: Eventually, the items were brought to the table by the same cashier who had struggled with the initial order. The Food: • We ordered flat whites, a chocolate croissant, and a creamy chicken mushroom sandwich. • While the presentation looked decent, the creamy chicken mushroom sandwich was unfortunately way too salty to enjoy. Between the communication struggles, the back-and-forth at the counter, and the salty food, it simply wasn't worth the time or the stress. I won't be coming back. I had the most amazing fluffy pancakes here! They were incredibly light, airy, and soft almost like eating a cloud. Every bite melted in my mouth, and the texture was perfectly balanced with a rich, delicious flavor. The fresh fruits and cream on the side added a refreshing touch and complemented the pancakes beautifully. If you’re a fan of Japanese-style soufflé pancakes, this place is definitely worth a visit. Freshly made, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
