TL;DR - Good food, comically slow service. A friend and I have given this location 8 chances within the last month (so 16 orders in total). Most of those orders involved only soft-serve and a small side. All but one order was placed en route, for pickup ASAP, in the Sonic app. And yet... every single visit has involved an extended wait time. We're talking 20-30 minutes after the "ready" time shown in the app. It's literally become a running joke with my friend. (Yes, we checked in; no, they weren't slammed.) Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10

Franchise owner needs to figure things out with staffing. Workers doing their best but some people cannot be patient including me. Either hire more people to meet demand or just lose business. The outcomes are pretty simple. No reason for only one person to be servicing scores of customers over a few hours during peak hours. Logistically makes no sense. Edit: forgot the most important part, I ordered 2 non stove items AHEAD OF TIME ON APP, a drink and a shake with only 3 add on items to each, 2 of which came with the shake standard, and still not only did I wait an actual real hour AFTER driving to get there, but they also didnt give all the addons for the shake. Just ridiculous.

One of the worst locations in the entire Sonic Drive-In chain. I work in food delivery and I’ve been to Sonic locations all over — Tempe, Phoenix, Mesa, and even back when I worked in Texas. I’ve seen a lot. But this specific location is where logic goes to die. This Sonic has special instructions for Uber drivers in the app: do not enter the restaurant, use the call button instead. Sounds simple, right? Except the staff — including the manager — completely ignores their own instructions and tells drivers to come inside anyway. So which is it? If you have rules, follow them. If you changed the rules, update them in the Uber app. Instead, drivers waste time arguing about procedures that the restaurant itself wrote and then refuses to follow. It’s chaotic, unprofessional, and exhausting. Out of all the Sonic locations I’ve ever been to, this is the only one I never want to return to. When logic ends, this Sonic begins. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
