Wow. The best meal I've ever had. Hand selected by the chef. The broth of the least notable course was still the best thing I've ever had. 12 courses with 9 sake pairings and then he shared some top shelf sake he got for a discount I think just as a bonus. And then 10 pieces of unique sushi and melon for dessert. That sounds like a lot but it's paced well so I left comfortably full. The chef cooks in front of you and I enjoyed seeing his precision. I'd highly recommend this place go anyone who is able to make it. The chef spoke English from living in America for many years. He was friendly and kind to me when though I am a young american tourist. There was a group that got there before me and they said they had to go soon which is pretty rude at a place like this especially when it's explicitly stated the meal takes a while. But he still accommodated them politely. The sake pairings were all completely out of this world. His assistant was excellent as well and she spoke English too. The soft classical music in the background was just right for the experience. Really enjoying getting to know soto-san. Thank you so much! Price per person: ¥10,000+

Unforgettable experience. Our best Japanese dining experience. All very fresh and local Toyama seafood. Chef was personable and explained certain concepts that we asked him which was nice and unpretentious. I also liked how he spoke English but felt untouristy as all other diners were local Japanese patrons. Also great service. Lastly I really appreciated the simple but clean aesthetic of the restaurant ie not showy because it just knows that it shines with quality and taste of food. I also appreciated all the tableware and the accompaniment for sushi, loved the soft music too Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very impressive omakase. Appetizer are very delicious. Nodoguro, Botan ebi and the red snow crab are so mind blowing. Chef is very nice and friendly. He can converse well in English. Would be back again if I have a chance Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
