We asked the waitress when looking at the menu before sitting down if they have an item on the menu, she said she isn’t sure and the manager said yes we have it. Didn’t talk to us and stayed looking at his phone, nothing major but a bit rude.
We then sat down outside with one of thee wobbliest tables, it was so bad we had to sit inside.
We then go inside and proceed to order, the item that they said they have. The waitress then goes to the kitchen and said they don’t have it.
After a misunderstanding, of Veal and Chicken as they are similar words I know.
We finally order, and the food was not too bad but wasn’t great.
Now the worst part, the check. It’s expensive almost 10 euros a beer, we knew that, but we thought it was 0,5l, but we received 330ml. Also what we didn’t know was the hidden costs they get you with, there’s a small sentence on the 3 page paper menu (stapled together like a poor school project) saying that there is a cover charge of almost 4 euros per person for a piece of A3 paper. We knew some restaurants charge this but not at that high price per person. And a 22% service charge included also per person with all these extra charges we were at almost 40 euros per person. Insane for the service we received. So total we paid over 50 euros hidden fees for 5 people.
When going to question these charges the manager avoided us, he went outside and when we went outside he crep back inside.
Worse restaurant in Rome by far.
