A quaint little place tucked away in Roppongi backstreet. The owner does his own thing with classic yet brilliant italian food, interesting wine selection. Reservation needed. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥8,000–9,000

Great cosy, low key atmosphere, and delicious, top quality food. The menu has interesting dishes such as the burrata with peach and the truffle and ham omelette. The mouth watering carbonara is to die for! The chef always has fresh ingredients on hand which are flown in from all parts of the world, such as fresh New Zealand lamb and beef, and fresh mushrooms from France.The chef, Suzuki san, has worked/trained in the US, Italy and France. He and his staff are friendly and kind and speak both Japanese and English. Spigola is our go- to and we are never disappointed. We highly recommend it if you're in need of a fantastic culinary experience! It is hands down the best Italian we (me and my husband) have had in Tokyo.
