we were lucky enough to get in without waiting or a reservation, which was impressive on its own. This place is also part of the MINADAIN group, and I’d heard that someone who had worked at Robuchon was involved, so it had been on my list for a while. The counter seats are the main focus, with a standing bar atmosphere and a few tables tucked away in the back. All the staff were energetic and provided genuinely pleasant service. Watching just two people run that tiny kitchen—handling everything from fried dishes and grilled items to fried rice—was seriously impressive. You can really tell that the prep work is done properly. The whole place reminded me of a Spanish bar. I also liked the thoughtful details, such as hooks under the table for bags and cutlery stored neatly in drawers. Everything was delicious. [Visited in month of 2024 At the time of visit: 4.4] ``STAND BY Mi'' is located on Karasumori Miyawaki Dori, just outside Shinbashi Station. My friend took me there because he thought it was the perfect second restaurant. The restaurant is long and has standing style and chair seating, both of which are available. First, let's toast with a high-quality oolong high (580 yen)! When I asked the store clerk about the difference between regular oolong high and high-quality oolong high, The tea leaves are different, and the high-quality oolong high can enjoy a black tea-like aroma. When I actually drank it, it had a very nice aroma, almost like black tea. The mushroom potage that comes with the appetizer also has a good amount of mushroom extract. My friend didn't like it, so she drank it right away and it was so delicious. The sauce on the toro taku was Italian rather than Japanese, and it had a stylish taste, almost like a salad.
