Report incorrect information
My friend and I went in for two Footlongs with our mail coupon for 2 for $12.99. We asked the person in charge whether there were any exclusions to this coupon and she said there weren't. So we ordered 2 Italian subs. When we went to pay they would not take the coupon and were going to charge us the $12 per sandwich. We disagreed and she called the so-called Mgr that wasn't present and he said we should have read the small print where this sandwich was not eligible. We did a facetime phone conversation and told him that the person who seemed to be in charge had told us there was no exclusions. I had already started eating my sub by this time and he said we'd have to pay full price of $12 for mine. My friend hadn't started as she was still trying to get someone to the cash register to pay, so we left hers to be "thrown away", rather than for him to make the adjustment based on what we'd been told of the couple of DOLLARS. He kept repeating that we should have read the small print(even though we would've needed a magnifying glass to do so) and that it wasn't managements responsibility!!!????? to let me know which sandwiches weren't included with the coupon. I thought it was just stupidlycheap and wrong of them to not honor what the acting manager had told us and just bad customer care. Subway is not that special and if I never eat there again, I will be ok.
