The most authentic place we visited in all of Egypt. Sudanuba is the real deal. Tbed, the Nubian owner, is an extraordinary host. He played us beautiful Nubian chants, let me join in on music with him, and even helped us arrange our onward trip to Luxor. His passion for his culture is infectious and genuinely moving. Oh, and the fruit juices and coffee are outstanding. Don’t miss those either. This isn’t a tourist experience. It’s the soul of Aswan. Don’t miss it. Thank you, Tbed!
