In the late afternoon I visited Sabores das Maltezas in Estremoz - so close to the beautiful library. Impressions: a place of knowing how to be, with regional products, and a frugal meal. Good table service. Starter: partridge pie. Meal, the option was chicken toast, pineapple, mushrooms. I drank beer by the glass. Everything was on point, plus the friendliness of those who served us and talked to us about (our) Alentejo. The usual question: will he return?
