Are these people kidding? We visited this place - maybe the cook had a day off, I don't know. The service was funny - I was told this was real Indian food and maybe I'm just not used to it. I have been eating curry for 42 years, starting with my Sikh high school mate's house. My taste has moved towards Northern Indian Pakistani style but I still enjoy a Westernized curry at a better restaurant in London doing that style, This stuff is horrid. Not even sure which style they are trying to represent. If you're dying for a curry while on the island, you may want to consider their competition over in Ixia. The Ixia place is bit pricey (about the same price as Saffron) but can they can do decent curries.

The waitress was absolutely lovely but the wait time for starters and mains to come out was far too long over an hour waiting for mains. The food was bland and tasteless. Ordered chicken madras and found it very tasteless no spices at all and had 6 small tiny pieces of chicken for a full mains dish?? Coconut garnish on top which was horrible . Garlic naan bread was like a plain thin crispy pizza base. Really disappointed

Just back from Saffron Indian restaurant in Rhodes town. Not our first visit and will definitely not be our last. Great Indian food served in a very friendly atmosphere, good prices and excellent service. Family business which deserves to do well.
