Safta may mean "grandmother" in Hebrew, but there's nothing old school about this restaurant, Chef Alon Shaya's first outside Louisiana. Instead, this hot spot is located in the trendy Source Hotel. We have been there several times. Everything on the menu that we have tried was just great. How rare is that?! One cannot go wrong eating here. Plus the service was excellent. I have a nut allergy and they were extremely helpful. Shrinkflation has finally hit Safta. Chef Alon is focusing on Las Vegas and the managers/chefs they've hired aren't cutting it like 2018/2019 when the restaurant was amazing. They used to provide at least 2-3 pita breads fresh with the hummus. Now, you can only get one pita bread and the serving size of the hummus is smaller too. I was completely disappointed. This place is sooo last decade. officially overhyped. Do better. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
