First of all, my husband and I consider ourselves to be picky with high standards when it comes to food/bar/service ! We love to support local as much as possible and sometimes it’s hit and miss unless it’s a place we frequentl as regulars. We decided the last minute to head to Sage Leaf on Memorial Day because it’s close to home and it was open! Our initial experience over the phone with Jacob was what got us in the door. He was super cool, super helpful, super accommodating and said he would put our name in before arrival. When we get there, it immediate was “our vibe”. Great ambience and atmosphere , We decided to sit in the lounge and we were immediately greeted by Justin our bartender / server and let me tell you this guy elevated our experience. First of all , he made me a drink that normally has gin and I substituted vodka and it was literally the best thing I’ve ever had !!! (The Bees Knees) He made solid recommend recommendations since it was our first visit . The food came out with perfect timy. The suggestions were impeccable and we will definitely be regulars. I highly suggest you come here and if you can get here during brunch, it was epic. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. The food was great and the ambiance is really nice, which very comfortable inside and outside seating. The service was a bit slow but they just opened so I assume they are still dialing that in. It should be noted that this is part of a local restaurant group, so although very polished, it might not have the same local vibe you get from a mom and pop place. I'm not saying that is bad, but just wanted to mention it because going in here, you feel like you could be anywhere. Also, dining is pricey, but all diners need to understand that this is the case just about everywhere. Food prices, rent, labor, etc. is all going up and that's being reflected on menus. Dining at Sage Leaf Reno was an enchanting culinary journey, offering a perfect blend of sophisticated ambiance, impeccable service, and world-class cuisine. From the moment we stepped in, the intimate atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable evening, making it a must-visit for any food lover. Every dish arrived impeccably presented, highlighting the kitchen’s attention to detail. The menu showcased exceptional flavors—a delicate balance of textures and tastes making it a true diamond in Reno. From start to finish, the food was flavorful and left us wanting more. This restaurant truly exceeded all expectations, and I cannot wait to return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70
