Sage is an American cuisine restaurant nestled in the lobby of the Marriott hotel, conveniently situated on Airport Blvd, providing easy access for both hotel guests and locals. Some reviews suggest that while prices may trend higher, the quality of service is noted to be particularly commendable, especially receiving praise for individual staff members. It's located near a mobile mall, making it a potential spot for a meal during a shopping day.
Despite undergoing comprehensive renovations, the Marriott venue presents an appealing dining experience at Sage, complete with options such as outdoor seating for those who wish to enjoy their meals al fresco. Known for offering many vegetarian dishes, Sage can cater to various dietary preferences. Furthermore, the restaurant accepts credit cards, enhancing its convenience for diners. With operating hours extending from breakfast through late evening every day of the week, Sage provides flexibility for visitors' dining schedules.

The atmosphere is upscale, but relaxed with their over sized leather chairs and lovely decor. We loved everything about our visit today and look forward to returning!!

Server lacks judgment. I was invited to observe a dinner interview that took place in this restaurant within the Marriott hotel. Everything was great about our service - the food was ...well, nothing special. Certainly, the only reason to charge 24 dollars for a 3-4 ounce portion of Salman was because we were in a hotel restaurant. Any other restaurant in Mobile would have charged 16-18 bucks. But, it's in a hotel restaurant, I get that. But, when you ask the server to have the butter sauce on the side and not on the fish, when you point out that the butter is clearly on the fish - you're supposed to do more than say you're sorry. You're supposed to take the fish away and bring back another without the butter. This girl did nothing. She just said sorry and left the nasty butter along with the fish at the table. If I hadn't been observing the interview, I would have pretended to be Gordon Ramsay and made my request a second time only much more loudly. I think part of my disappointment is because I expect a higher level of service from Marriott. I realize that this restaurant is probably not part of Marriott, just inside it, but for 25 bucks an entrée, I would expect more attention to detail. I won't spend my money in that place. (fortunately, I still haven't spent money there - but the point is this: If you're serving, and you don't catch the cook's error - you have to do more than just apologize, you need to make it right.
