I am quite disappointed with the pricing transparency at Sahara Middle Eastern Cuisines Pty Ltd. The menu displayed outside clearly lists Lamb Mandi with Rice for $16.50. Based on this, I made my decision to enter and order. However, I was later charged $22.50 without any clear explanation or prior warning. This creates a misleading impression for customers and raises concerns regarding compliance with Australian Consumer Law, particularly in relation to accurate and transparent pricing. If different portion sizes or versions exist, this must be clearly stated on the menu and communicated before the order is placed. Customers should not be surprised with a higher price at checkout. I would strongly recommend the business review its pricing practices to ensure clarity and fairness. Otherwise, this may warrant further attention from consumer protection authorities.
