Where the heck was my egg on top? Lol I know you see the soup bubbling up and all the banchan!!! Yesssss! Overall service was slow, they didn't bring my banchan our until the food almost arrived. It was a late night and I was by myself, I only ordered the tofu soup and ate there. Ordered the seafood pancake to go. Seafood pancake is a must get!!! I expected more or bette seafood in the tofu soup. Overall it's an average Korean spot. Nothing too fancy. I will def try their casserole thing next time but won't go back just for it.

Food: 3/5      Price: 3/5       Service: 3.5/5       Ambience: 3.5/5 *** MICHELIN Guide 2016 *** Had high hopes for this Michelin recommended Korean restaurant, but it was just about average. The restaurant is quite old with around 20 tables and minimal decoration. Price is a bit higher than most Korean bbq places, but food is mediocre and not as great as the others. Banchan included 9 appetizers, mediocre quality...kimchi, bean sprouts, fish cake, broccoli, pickled radish, potato, bean paste, cucumber, tofu. We went with the dinner combo A, which was enough for the 3 of us. Bul ko ki - bbq beef was pretty good. Marinade was great, but I hoped it was more spicy. Dak Foo Ee - bbq chicken, decent portion with pretty tender meat. Not a lot of flavor, and not enough spice. Jap Che - pan fried thin clear noodles with beef and vegetables. I was surprised that this was served warm, and it tasted like Chinese chow mien with clear noodles. Na Mool - lettuce wraps for the meat. Great addition. Original soft tofu soup - Good! We ordered spicy and it sure was spicy. Served pipping hot in a stone clay pot. Overall, I expected a bit more flavor and wow factor in a Michelin restaurant. Maybe we didn't get the right dishes, but I was a bit dissapointed. Ordered: * Dinner combo A ($49) - Bul ko ki, Dak Foo Ee, Jap Che, Na Mool, Original soft tofu soup, 2 rice.
