Went for a dinner with family the restaurant was really pretty and well decorated. The service was great but got a lil slow as the crowd heavier. Ordered the souk cooler which was quite sweet with a hint of spice and the non alcoholic sparkling white wine with the eggplant humus which was fresh and very light paired well with the flat bread which had unlimited refills, Nataqasm which was a very filling platter again paired with some more flat bread and Kibbeh maqliyeh. My personal favourite has to be the Nosa farrouj which was so juicy and amazing with the honey and toum. The music was really good the servers were really helpful and sweet. An amazing lebanese restaurant in heart of the city. The food is delicious and the vibes are amazing. The mezze was perfect for sharing, and make sure to order sawda djej. We loved it

Had an amazing dining experience at Sahtein and it’s easily one of the best Lebanese dining experiences in Sydney. The restaurant sits inside the historic Argyle Stores, and the atmosphere is perfect for long group dinners — lively, welcoming, and full of energy. The hospitality was warm from the moment we arrived, and the food kept coming in generous, share-style portions. Highlights from our table included the Shish Taouk (perfectly grilled chicken with garlic and lemon), Sharaih Lahm Ghanam lamb chops that were juicy and full of flavour, and the Qraydis Harra king prawns with a spicy chilli kick. The fried calamari with lemon tarator was also a standout mezze. For mains, the Kafta Laffe was fantastic — lamb kafta wrapped with hommus, salad, and pickles in soft flatbread, served with fries. Comfort food done right. Dessert was the perfect finish: the Ossmaliyyeh with kataifi pastry, ashta cream, nuts and rose syrup was rich and fragrant, and the Baklawa was beautifully balanced and not overly sweet. Great food, great cocktails, and the kind of place where dinner easily turns into a long night with friends. Perfect for group bookings or celebrations. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
