I am absolutely devastated. My mother and I moved 2 hours from the Astoria area about 10 years ago and we'd still come back to visit this market ! Their lentil soup was amazing ! just today we were going to get 6 soups- to share with our family back home, we rave about it so often but the soups were so good it was usually gone by the time we got there ! To our shock, we found the "FOR RENT" sign out front. We are so sad to see this staple leave the neighborhood. Please let us know if you relocate ! Thank you so much for staying around for so long  and God bless you and your family !

Their lentil soup is absolutely amazing! My favorite is the tofu sandwich. The avocado sandwich is great as well.

Among the good things here is the healthy food. It has lots of it. Sai Organics is a small locally owned health food store. Local is much better than going to an oversized chain. The prices are comparable to or a little higher than a normal grocery store, but this is locally owned and everything here is organic. Food is the main thing sold here but it's not all. It also has personal care products. The stuff here is all organic, and they have a surprising variety. All kinds of frozen items like dairy free ice cream. The personal care items include things like soap and toothpaste. It also has salads and sandwiches, all made fresh. The produce section is the most iffy part. It's not that large, and some fruit always seems bad. This is organic, so there's no preservatives. It still looks pretty good. The prices for these are better than expected for a local store. If you spend $20 or $50 you get a gift. It's free and is always something good. They have things like coffee and vegan ice cream treats.
