DELICIOUS food. And super cheap too compared to most resteraunts in Vancouver. I ordered the beef sandwich and it was one of the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend this restaurant for an affordable and tasty meal! If you want to experience a delicious, cute, quaint, clean, and neighbourhood-feel Pho place, I recommend coming to Saigon Taste Vietnamese. I knew that the ownership changed around 8 months ago as I noticed renovations happening when passing by. We finally made the time to check out this new place. We got a large Pho with rare beef, flank, and beef balls and a small rare beef pho. Large was $15, and the small was $14. Sorry, I couldn't take the first pic when the pho arrived because I was too hungry, but the presentation was great! I was surprised. Beautiful bowls with generous stack of fresh shaved onions, cilantro, green onions, and black pepper before mixing it all together. Plus, generous portions of fresh basil, lime, jalapeños, and beansprouts to compliment our Pho. The broth was the star. Flavourful clean taste and not oily at all. Good portions of the fixings and the pho itself was cooked perfectly al dente loved it. It was a hot day when we came in, and they had a powerful fan by the door to circulate the restaurant. I didn't mind the heat, but I'm sure it can be inconvenient for others. I just imagined I was in Vietnam or Thailand so that helped my mindset when eating lol. The lady that served us, I'm guessing, was the owner. She was very friendly, attentative, and approachable. Support your local neighbourhood pho restaurant. I will return to try their other dishes for sure! I hope you will enjoy this place as much as I did. Cheers.
