After a walk around North Vancouver Museum, many visitors stop by this bar. Sailor Hagar's Brew Pub offers its clients Canadian cuisine. It's a pleasant experience to taste nicely cooked fish, nacho chips and salads. Based on the guests' opinions, waiters offer good draft beer.
The warm atmosphere of this place makes visitors feel relaxed and have a nice time. The staff is said to be nice here. Service at this spot is something one can call spectacular. Ack!! This is such a tough review! I hate to give such low stars but the owners need to PAY attention!! Starting from bad to good. The drinks, um no drinks list? No wine list? Come on! You have a beer and wine store right next door. I will add that the bartender (who is awesome btw and is in my pictures because I didn’t get his name) said he was redoing the wine list. The wine is yuck but hopefully they will bring in some options. The food, cringey if you can’t even get a hamburger figured out and you are a pub, there needs to be some changes!! The beef dip had a chance if it had some flavour like a horseradish mayo or something!! I will say the pork rinds on the appetizer list is surprisingly good! Parking sucks! Just walk, honestly. Now what you have been waiting for THE GOOD: first off, the STAFF. They are great, super helpful and friendly. This was a busy hockey playoff night and they were great. 5+ stars for the staff!! (We have been here on a not as busy afternoon and the service was a bit questionable but the server was really friendly and sweet) all in all I really feel like the staff is so nice. LOCATION: this is a great location and a really nice atmosphere. The seats are comfortable, it’s a nice layout, lots of room, pool tables, darts, karaoke and lots of TVs for sports. COME ON OWNERS step up your game make the food and the drinks list better and you will get a better midweek crowd as well as a better weekend following. Add some live music, good North Shore Bands & not just karaoke, to this and it will be pure gold!! Parking: Watch out for the parking!! Price per person: CA$50–60 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid parking lot

Good atmosphere and location, unfortunately their fish and chips was very rubbery and 2 of the servers were not very friendly (tbf it was somewhat busy) but took over 20 mins of trying to call the server to finally order my food... Tries calling one of them again after my food arrived and was told they couldnt help me because they were busy (the server then just went talk with people they knew for the rest of the night..) Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

its really awful. its not warm its not friendly its a rascist hiibilly bar for troglodyte half brothers and their friends. the bartenders try to rip you off, the waitresses are also scammers. their hope is that they get you drunk enough you wont care. if you are underage its also a good place to go and if you like to smoke and throw your cigarettes all over the neighbourhood, you can do that too! pest control is there probably twice a week and pray you dont have to use the washroom! new owner, new suckers. dont go.
