Enjoy Nekromanteion Oracle of Ephyra by default, the guests' recommendation is to come to this restaurant as well. Carpe diem – the Greek cuisine waits for you. Here you will be able to order nicely cooked red snapper, saganaki and prawns. The must-order dish is good baklava. Delicious house wine, cordial or white wine will make your meal tastier and you'll certainly come back. Some clients like great coffee at Sakis.

It's easy to find this place due to its convenient location. The competent staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. If you want to experience nice service, you should go to this spot. Prices are found average here. The atmosphere of this place is pretty. Google users awarded this restaurant 4.6.

Vegans and vegetarians beware!! We saw the menu online and we took notice that the tavern made an effort and had vegetarian/gluten free/ and vegan tags next to the dishes. As vegans we got excited thinking that we don't have to worry about having something proper to eat there, and walk a 20 minute distance to get there to eat. As soon as we arrive and take a look at the menu we realise that they are clueless about vegetarianism since they have sea food like octopus labeled as vegan and many other absurdities. We finally find stuff to order according to out eating lifestyle, but the waiter comes back every two minutes to declare that the dishes that we ordered were all premade and with different ingredients than what the menu suggested. Almost all the self declared vagan options were premade with cheese so they were out of the picture for us. Finaly we order the most forgetable fava I have ever had, An equally forgetable palioparga salad, completely tasteless. Some ntolmadakia that were comparable to the ones that anyone can find in a can at the supermarket. The grilled vegetables were tasty but you can't go wrong with that. It was half an eggplant, one zucchini, one red pepper and one green pepper roasted. Zero potatoes although the menu said potatoes with the grilled vegetables. The last dish cost 9 euros. Joke. Overall the stuff was meh, there were constant visits to our table making a bigger deal of our eating habits than they had to, other costumers constantly getting over our table to take pictures of the nice view, and the wooden platform that they have build to canibalise the natural view to make people forget their mediocore cuisine was shaking with every step behind us. It was not even a full day or time we should have got away as soon as we saw the vegan octopus. This shop is a scam. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Hello Mr Konstantinos, Thank you for your review. We have always to get something from the reviews of our guests. Even the bad ones. I will answer to your review in English, as you did. Even though you are Greek. We assume that you wanted to be sure that also the foreigner visitors of Parga would understand how bad restaurant we operate!!! You are quite indicator in the way you describe your experience. We will not do the same as we respect each one of you, even when you are not so "easy" guests... We didn`t answer your review so far, because we were checking our Menu to find the mistakes you were mentioned. In did we found that on the Octapus Salad was a mark of V (for Vegan). Same with 2-3 other of our offered dishes (V mark when was yoghurt in. Mistake for sure). But on the page of "Fishes", the grilled Octapus didn`t had this mark. We note that so to make you (!) understand that the V you saw on the Octapus Salad was a typographic mistake. And not that we don`t have a clue of what a Vegan or Veggeterian could eat. Same with the 95% of the dishes having correct marks (Vegan/Vegetarian/Gluten Free). You are also very inaccurate on your description. The only time that the waitress came back to change something, was about the Eggplant Salad, that he asks the cooks (so to be 100% sure) and told him that they had add cheese THIS time in the recipe. So, he came to inform you about and protect you! But we can see that you didn`t like that he cares about you. You even didn`t like that the waitress came 1-2 times to check if you were happy by asking you if it was all ok. And you NEVER inform us that you were disappointed of all this dishes we offer you. Actually, you had eat the most of these. Finally, you look like you even had problem with the wooden platform that we have in our balcony! As you say we cannibalize the natural view! But it`s EXACTLY this spot that you choose to seat for your meal and not the street side of our restaurant… Overall, we apologize for any mistake we made within the menu and the typography. But we do know our job very well and the dishes we offer. That`s how, you didn`t taste anything you shouldn’t (according to your choice to be Vegan). Be well and have great moments in Parga. Excellent location to have to grab lunch/dinner. Everyone was friendly and they were happy to help you choose from the menu. They speak English so it is a great option for tourist. Everything we tried was tasty. We were lucky to find a table as this place is extremely busy. I don’t know if they make reservations yet if they do i suggest you make one especially if you are a big company. This one is always suggested by the locals, so we gave it another try for a second time after our last visit 2 years ago. The first time I had the impression it was overestimated and almost a tourist trap. We arrived in Wednesday evening at 18:30 and we had to wait for more than half an hour before getting a table in the deck with the view. They offered us some Ouzo in the meantime. We ordered saganaki shrimps which was average in portion and in quality, with a mix of really small shrimps (gapari) and medium sized ones. We had zucchini balls which were really good. We also had veal with pita giaourtlou, which was ok again. Last we had "Sakis special", we ordered it because we thought it was like "mpougiournti". This plate was a shame to both carrying the name special or the restaurant brand. It was a watery tomato with pepper and a tiny bit of feta. Please, do yourself a favour and avoid it. So, I still believe that it does not worth your energy to get up there or the waiting in the sun for half hour for this kind of subpar experience. Edit: After reading your response, I deducted more stars from the service and the food to be actually fair to other businesses' effort. Thank you for confirming that this place does not worth anyone's energy and is in fact a tourist trap. Farewell. Hello Mr Papadimitriou, Thank you for your review. …Hello Mr Papadimitriou, Thank you for your review. We was thinking how to answer to the review of someone that: 1st Suggest to people to Not visit our restaurant. 2nd Call us a Tourist Trap 3d He visited the Tourist Trap for Second time (!!!) 4th He decide to wait for half an hour in the sun, just and only because he wanted to seat in a specific area (even though we offer him table, so to not wait) 5th He write the review in English, even though he is Greek (probably you want to "Influence" as more people you could) Mr Papadimitriou, this "Tourist Trap" established in 1954 and operated from the same family and for three generations. Same spot, same people, same Trust from all these guests/friends for years and years. And as you also say, with the Trust of the Locals that they choose our family restaurant for them and their friends/guests. Be well… Sakis Family Restaurant Since 1954 Old Town of Parga ANSWER No2, AFTER YOUR CORRECTION : Mr Papadimitriou, with your second post and actions, you just make us to feal very proud for the "heroic" job we are doing. Anyone could understand, that we have to deal with personalities like yours every day. And we do it in a good way... Be well. Sakis Family Restaurant since 1954 More
