First time at Sakonnet River Grille and I have to say I liked it. I've driven by pretty much daily for the past 6 years and wanted to try something new. Food was good 8/10, Service was on point 9/10, Atmosphere 8/10. I had a cup of clam chowder... a bit more pepper than I'm used to but it was fantastic!!! I also ordered the 14oz ribeye with glazes carrots and mashed potatoes. Ordered ribeye medium and the cooks nailed it (which isn't my usual experience). I decided to get a peach sangria... beware, it's DANGEROUS... it's really good and easy to drink. I could drink a few of those and get myself in trouble. Jess did a great job with the service. All in, fantastic first impression. If you're in the area, highly recommend.
