Do not delay your visit – seriously, Chinese and Japanese cuisines are waiting for you. Make a change from your traditional meal and try good avocado roll, sushi and sashimi at this restaurant. A lot of reviewers think that the staff is knowledgeable at this place. Sakura Japanese Restaurant is notable for its nice service. Here you will pay democratic prices. The atmosphere is exotic, as visitors find it. But google users rated this place and it didn't achieve a high rating.

Not authentic, not Japanese & terrible sushi. Some people like it but it is not really good and is certainly not Japanese. Just has a Japanese name like most other so called Japanese restaurants in this area. Do yourself a favor and try a real Japanese place like Daikichi in Chesapeake.

I came to Virginia first time and came to Sakura Japanese Restaurant bcz walk distance from hotel. I always try Chirashi when I go to Japanese restaurant. I was expected Chirashi here good but it wasn't. Salmon teriyaki was too light and sweet. We needed wasabi and soy sauce to eat them. But salmon was good size of pieces. Teriyaki come with miso soup and salad but both of no good taste. Miso soup was watery taste and too much dressing on salad. My green tea cup was empty but I didn't get refills. I'm giving here 2 stars
