Visitors book a table for tasty dishes here and enjoy the sights of Chiesa di Santa Maria presso San Celso. The staff is well-trained that's what makes this restaurant so nice. But SALI Rooftop Izakaya Milano is not highly appreciated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

The terrace is beautiful, and watching the sunset here is truly the highlight of the experience. The Margarita was also very well made. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations. When we arrived, there was no one to greet us, and we had no idea where to go. Instead of being welcomed, someone shouted from across the restaurant, “It’s closed over there!” After being seated, we ordered water, which took about 15 minutes to arrive. We were given several drink menus (some duplicated), but only one food menu for the two of us, so we had to share it. The food was good but quite simple and nothing particularly memorable. More disappointing was the service. We weren’t given any napkins and had to repeatedly try to get a waiter’s attention just to ask for some. Cloth napkins only arrived before the main course. When I ordered a second Margarita with my main course, it took around 20 minutes to arrive, and only after I reminded the waiter. After we finished eating, our dirty plates remained on the table for about 30 minutes. No one cleared them, offered dessert, or checked whether we needed anything else. Eventually, we walked to the cashier ourselves because we simply wanted to leave. While I was in the restroom, my husband was still standing at the cashier waiting to pay, completely ignored by the staff. The restaurant had become quite busy by then, but that shouldn’t result in guests being overlooked. We also weren’t given a receipt—the total was simply read from a screen, and we had to trust that it was correct. This is a lovely place for an aperitif thanks to the fantastic terrace and cocktails. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner unless the service improves significantly. Price per person: €90–100 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Food was average when not bad. The service was poor and unprofessional. We had to wait very long for cold food, tiny portions and served in wrong order. Finally they also brought us the wrong bill including things we didn’t order Price per person: €50–60 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
