This was our first time at Salmon Run. Overall, not a bad experience, but for me, the food was not good. I ordered a baked seafood platter which consisted of two fishes (cod and salmon), scallops and shrimp. To be specific, everything was grossly overcooked; the shrimp were miniscule and looked like they were bought at a grocery store and thawed out for service, and the scallops were equally rubbery and small. I usually don't send food back for obvious reasons. My wife had a spinach pear had with a salmon filet on top. To me, the salmon looked like everything else, overcooked. I did not taste her salmon, but it took a bit of effort for her to cut into the salmon. Nothing we ordered was complex and should have been much better, especially since this is a seafood restaurant. Salmon Run has a nice menu and I will give them another chance. The service was excellent with a friendly and unobtrusive server. He was the highlight of the experience, but overall, very disappointing food. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The restaurants in Stockbridge were seriously mobbed yesterday, so we made the short drive to Lee. We settled on the Salmon Run Fish House, although "settled" is not a good word to use. My friend and I were both impressed with the food and service. Our server, Mary, was very excellent (and she's been there for 12 years). Notwithstanding we opted for a fish house, we both ordered cheeseburgers w fries. Burgers were perfectly cooked (nice charbroiled taste), fries were good, and the coleslaw also hit the spot.  We shared blueberry crisp w vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream sprinkled w cinnamon.  She really liked the ice cream, and thought it was home-made.  Turns out to be Giffords. We both thought a solid "four-star " meal...both of us being huge fans.
