Atmosphere has always been good for get togethers and catching up, however you should expect long serving time (turon already takes 40 min) and poor service from most of the waiters, including the manager. Food taste is average and coffee is bland. Price per person: ₱1,000–1,200 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

After a night at another location in Manila, Philippines we were looking for a lounge that was open till late, so we could go relax and not be pressured by time constraints. Salon de Ning is the late-night lounge bar at the Peninsula hotel in Manila. In order to get here, you have to walk through the magnificent and awesome lobby of the hotel (see pictures). Walking into the Salon gives one a cozy feeling. Nice decor, especially the spectacular portrait on entering the lounge. Lights were dimed and soft music prevailed in the background. Free snacks and good service was provided. Nice place to celebrate with friends, decompress and not have to scream to speak.
