After a walk around Davis Square, many visitors stop by this bar. You will enjoy its food, particularly perfectly cooked oysters, belly pork and fried chicken. To taste good bread pudding is a really nice idea. You will hardly forget delicious bourbon, liqueur or wine that you can degust. A collection of great coffee, bread drink or ginger beer is offered to visitors.

Cocktails weren't good. Beer was great. Food was so-so. Although tasty but portions were way too small for the price. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We were served spoiled oysters that had a very strong, pungent rotten smell. When they first came out I thought something was off. My first one taste fine but my second one spit right in my napkin. It tasted like rotten trash. My friend didn’t notice at first and ate one that was much much worse than mine only to immediately spit it out. The odor was so overpowering that it stayed in our noses for the entire drive home. While the restaurant did remove the oysters from our bill, this is a serious quality control issue. Serving rotten seafood is unsafe and could have made us very sick. We both felt nauseous the entire night after just by how bad the smell was and how it's all we could smell after. We just did a private event with Saloon. It was excellent - the food and drinks were incredible, the bartenders were extremely personable, charismatic, and knowledgeable, and Tania, who coordinated the event was excellent at organizing and was so on top of it all/able to work with our needs seamlessly. We had about 80-100 people and everyone had a great time. Several people who attended agreed that they would want to host their events there too. I’ve coordinated similarly sized events with other restaurants/bars before, but Saloon was the most organized, honest, and accommodating. I couldn’t recommend doing business with them more, and they gave me an unforgettable night! Thank you!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
