The food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent, and the cleanness is much better than Cuba! If you wanna pay in cash, it is better to pay by CUP, not doller. In Havana, all the store exchange rates are 300 CUP for one doller, but in Varadero, it is less than 180 CUP. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was on vacation in Cuba a few days ago and ate twice at Salsa Suárez. One occasion lunch and the other dinner. I was quite prepared because in Cuba the issue of food is complicated. They told me that this would be one of the best in Varadero. I arrived as soon as they opened at 12 and from the entrance we had friendly and helpful treatment. Alejandra attended us the first time and Yanet the second time. I can't say which of the two was better because both were very attentive, polite and attentive to every detail and with a lot of patience. I live in the United States specifically in Miami and I can assure you that I did not feel the difference at any time. The people in charge of recruiting staff really have a very good eye because these girls have nothing to envy in terms of their treatment and education with anyone here. (something that is difficult for me to find in Cuba, sadly) now the most important thing, the food. For starters I ordered Roquefort cheese croquettes and a focaccia with arugula, tomato and parmesan cheese. Both starters were super delicious and well presented. I ordered a banana chicken, the margherita pizza, the pork ribs and the lasagna. Everything was quite delicious, as an extra fact the lasagna was medium spicy, not much but I'm only mentioning it for those who don't like it or can't tolerate it, I think it would be good if they said it. But everything is very rich in flavor. I was so happy that I didn't hesitate to ask them for a card to come back another day, and so I did. Things I want to clarify because it would be good for you to know. - It is not a cheap restaurant, it is the most expensive I paid in Cuba (but it was worth it for me) - They take the dollar at 180 pesos (currently the dollar is worth 320 pesos) That is the only thing that does not seem fair to me at all, but in their defense I must say that they have it specified on the menu, with visible letters and it is not at the end , nor hidden. It was my mistake not being informed of the value of the dollar in Cuba. - The portions are not abundant, for me that is not a problem because I eat little and I prefer to eat a starter, main course and dessert. If you eat a lot or your family eats a lot you should order starters. Don't expect that as it is expensive there is a lot of it. This is not that type of restaurant and honestly I prefer it that way but everyone has their own tastes. - The guava cheesecake could maybe add a little sweetness to it or I don't know, maybe it's because the guava is natural and was a little acidic (natural guava is acidic, so that's something that I would have liked if it had been sweeter but on the other hand side it seems like it was natural, it is appreciated) As there are negative comments here from people who say they don't know how they can find positive comments, I say that my two times went very, very well.
