I could not speak highly enough of Salt House in Chester it was utterly amazing all round. We were welcomed by Dug at the front of house who was bubbly, funny and just came across as a really nice guy. My girlfriend is coeliac and they were very attentive with this and she was given a gluten-free menu from the get go. We shared 4 dishes between us and the stand out was the goats cheese and pear salad with candied walnuts, it was absolutely delicious. We love going for tapas and regularly eat out in Chester and we both agree that Salt House is our latest favourite tapas restaurant in Chester. What sets this place apart from other delicious tapas bars was the atmosphere and decor, it was such a lovely environment with such attentive staff and the food was quick to come. Really enjoyed our meal at the Salt House Chester. Can't fault the food. We had a voucher to use that was more than the value of our meal. No problem we thought? Not the case though. We were told we had to spend the entire value of the voucher and they couldn't issue another voucher with the remaining balance on it? Ended up paying for the meal and will use the voucher in Liverpool where they say it won't be a problem. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
